Study and Synthesis of Acrylamide Series of Cationic Surfactant Monomer

A series of cationic surface active monomers of acrylamide are prepared using a kind of polymerizable acrylamide monomer with brominated alkanes of different carbon chains as materials so as to changing the length of carbon chain of hydrophobic group. The product was identified by IR and 1H⁃NMR. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) and surface tension at CMC value (γCMC) was measured with methods of surface tension and conductibity measures; the solubility of surfactants (AMQC8,AMQC12, AMQC16) was determined by UV spectrophotometry at the same time. The experiment results show that with the growth of hydrophobic carbon chain, critical micelle concentration (CMC) was decreased gradually; the trend of Krafft temperature was gradually rising.

Metal Modified 13X Molecular Sieve and Adsorption Dechlorination of Naphtha

MgO/13X,Fe2O3/13X and MgO⁃Fe2O3/13X were prepared by impregnation method using 13X molecular sieve as carrier and MgO and Fe2O3 as active components. The structure of the prepared adsorbent was analyzed by XRD,N2 adsorption⁃desorption,TG⁃DTA and other characterization techniques, and the dechlorination effect of the adsorbent on naphtha was investigated. The results show that the metal oxides such as MgO and Fe2O3 are uniformly supported on 13X,the specific surface area and pore size of the modified adsorbent are slightly increased,and the pore volume is decreased. By comparison,the dechlorination effect of MgO⁃Fe2O3/13X adsorbent is best. The optimum conditions were as follows:adsorption time 2 h,adsorption temperature 60 ℃, and ratio of solvent to oil 1∶40,the dechlorination rate was the highest,reaching 89%. The fitting results show that the adsorption process conforms to the quasi⁃secondary kinetic model,mainly the physical adsorption proces.

Study on Flow Pattern and Convective Heat Transfer Characteristics of Oil⁃Water Flow in Adiabatic and Cooling Process

The self⁃made thermocouple, self⁃made double parallel conductivity probe, Labview programming system and IMP temperature programming system were used to obtain the phase distribution characteristics of oil⁃water two⁃phase flow, and the interaction between flow pattern and flow parameters and heat transfer coefficient was analyzed. The results show that the cooling flow process affects the flow pattern distribution, which means the range of oil⁃in⁃water and mixed interface layered flow and water⁃in⁃oil flows with cooling convection heat is smaller, but the stratified flow, water⁃in⁃oil & oil⁃in⁃water and oil⁃in⁃water & water flow types have a larger range on the flow chart, and flow pattern transition boundary between the two is higher, and the trend of higher oil velocity and water velocity is developed. The heat transfer coefficient is closely related to the flow pattern and flow velocity. The low flow velocity is mainly affected by the flow velocity, while the high flow velocity is mainly affected by the flow pattern.

In the grim situation of global water shortages and environmental pollution, it is necessary to find a clean way to obtain clean water. Solar energy is an inexhaustible, clean and pollution⁃free energy source. Its applications include photothermal, photovoltaic, photocatalytic oxidation, etc. Among them, photothermal is the most efficient way of energy conversion. Carbon material, as a material which has been paid attention to in recent years, has many advantages, such as convenient approach, low price and environmental friendliness.The carbon materials and composites with good photothermal effect which have been studied at home and abroad in recent years are reported, and some new research ideas and materials which can be used for photothermal conversion are also reported.

Experiment Study on Adsorption Retention Pore Volume and Inaccessible Pore Volume of J Oilfield

In order to quantitatively describe the changes of adsorption retention pore volume and Inaccessible pore volume in polymer flooding process, and provide an important basis for the optimization of Bohai J oilfield polymer flooding project, the experimental that research on polymer flooding and test of polymer output concentration is carried out according to the similarity principle, referring to the characteristic parameters of Bohai J oilfield. The experimental results show that there is preferably linear relationship between polymer solution concentration and absorbance, under the same concentration of injection polymer solution, the adsorption retention pore volume and inaccessible pore volume increase with decrease of core permeability, for the cores of same permeability, the adsorption retention pore volume and inaccessible pore volume increase with the increase of polymer injection concentration. The adsorption retention pore volume is about 0.04~0.02 PV and the inaccessible pore volume is about 0.12~0.22 PV of Bohai J oilfield.

Monitoring Slug Characteristics in Gas⁃Liquid Two⁃Phase Flow with Accoustic Emission

The acoustic emission(AE) technique was used to measure the AE signals of gas⁃liquid slug flow in horizontal pipes with non⁃intrusive and real⁃time monitoring features. Parameters of AE signals were calculated by setting window time and Critical Time of Elongated Bubble(CTEB). The characteristics of AE signal of slug unit were analyzed simultaneously. Based on the time delay of the same liquid slug arriving at two AE sensors, the AE method was used for detecting the translational velocity of liquid slug. Also, the measurement result of AE method was compared with the parallel conductivity method and Nicklin correlation. It is found that the AE signal of slug flow is very clear. The signals of liquid slug head, liquid slug body and elongated bubble decrease gradually and the signals of elongated bubble are below the threshold. The absolute energy and count of liquid slug increase with the superficial liquid and gas velocity respectively. AE technique could be used to monitor the frequency and translational velocity of liquid slug and it is a valuable method for application in the oil and gas field.

Preparation of Rodlike Iron Oxide and Its Modification-Ultrasonic Desulfurization Performance

Using FeCl3·6H2O  and NaOH as reactants, polyethylene glycol 200 as template agent, rodlikeFe2O3 nano-crystalline was synthesized. The samples were characterized by TEM, XRD and FI-IR.The results of TEM show that morphology of samples were changed with conditions of preparation.The synthetic conditions of nano-rods were optimized. The Fe2O3  nanorods were modified by sodium lauryl sulfate and its effect of oxidative desulfurization of thiophene was studied. Experiments show that modified Fe2O3  nanorods could significantly promote the removal of thiophene in the simulated oil due to effect of coupling existed between modified Fe2O3  catalyst and ultrasonic. The desulphurization rate could reach 100%.

The Research on Optimization Design for Export Pipeline of Watercut Crude Oil with High Viscosity

The design for export pipeline of high viscous crude oil was optimized based on the engineering project. The simulation and economic comparison of continuous transportation in the single pipeline, continuous transportation of oil and water respectively in two pipelines and batch transportation of oil and water in a same pipeline was performed. According to the analysis results, the batch transportation of oil and water in a same pipeline was the optimal scheme and the optimal diameter was determined. The results can be concluded that gas consumption increased with the rising of transmission temperature and power consumption decreased with rising of transmission temperature by analyzing the influence of the transmission temperature on the energy consumption of pipeline. The operation cost of water blending system rised first and reduced later with rising of transmission temperature,and reached the lowest point when the transmission temperature was between 50 ~ 55 ℃.

The Catalytic Performance of Ionic LiquidPhosphomolybdic Hybrid  Molecular Material in Cyclododecene Epoxidation

A hybrid molecular material ([Bmim]3PMo12O40) was synthesized using 1butyl 3methyl imidazolium bromide ionic liquid([Bmim]Br) and the Keggintype phosphomolybdic acid (H3PMo12O40) as raw materials. The obtained material was characterized by XRD, FTIR and UVVis. The results of XRD and FTIR indicated the existence of the cationic group of [Bmim]Br and Kegginstructure polyanion [PMo12O40]3- in the hybrid material. The UVVis showed there was strong intermolecular interactions between the organic cation and the Keggintype anion of [Bmim]3PMo12O40. The catalytic performances of [Bmim]3PMo12O40 in alkene epoxidation were investigated using cyclododecene as the substrate and H2O2 as the oxidant. 

Synthesis of 2Ethylhexyl Stearate Using Brnsted Acidic Ionic Liquid as Catalyst

2Ethylhexyl stearate was synthesized by esterification of stearic acid with 2ethylhexanol using Brnsted acidic ionic liquid as catalyst. The conditions of the synthesis and the recycling capability of the catalyst were investigated. The results indicated that Brnsted acidic ionic liquid possessed high catalytic activity for the esterification reaction. The optimal synthesis conditions were as follows: the reaction temperaturewas at 150 ℃, the reaction time was 6 h, the molar ratio of stearic acid to 2ethylhexanol was 1∶1.4, and the molar ratio of catalyst to stearic acid was 1∶25. On this condition, the conversion rate was up to 96.9% and the acid value of the product was smaller than 0.5 mg(KOH)/g. After the reaction, the ester could be simply decanted out from the ionic liquid, and the ionic liquid could be reused after removal of water under vacuum. The activity of the catalyst remained at a high level after reuse of six cycles. 

Corrosion Inhibition by Schiff Base and Its Synergize System on Carbon Steel

The inhibition effect between 3methy4aminocinnamaldehydene5mercapto1,2,4triazole Schiff base (short for MACHMT) and cinnamic aldehyde (short for CA), 3methy4amino5mercapto1,2,4triazole(short for MACMT)on Q235 steel in the hydrochloric acid was studied by polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The corrosion performance and inhibition mechanism was discussed and compared. Experiments show that stability and inhibition effeciency of cinnamic aldehyde with a 3methyl4amino5mercapto1, 2,4triazole’s complex system for Q235 carbon steel are higher than the same concentration of seats Schiff base compounds MACHMT. 

PET Modified with Copolyester of Isosorbide/Maleic Anhydride

PETcISMA was prepared from PET which modified by copolyester of isosorbide/maleic anhydride through reactive extrusion. PETcISMA had the similar θg and θm as that of PET and a single phase structure from thermal gravity analysis. PETcISMA with the maximum amount of 30% ISMA could remain the thermal properties of PET. PETcISMA shows higher crystal property than PET for the presence of θc from 125 ℃ to 130 ℃, and hence improved the process characteristics by changing the crystal degree of PETcISMA. Moreover, PETcISMA possessed higher water resistance, better stability in acid or alkaline medium and biodegradation.

Reasonable Range of Electrical Motor Power Utilization Ratio of Pumping Units

The load characteristic of pumping units is a cyclicity loading. In order to startup and run the pumping units normally, the electrical motor theory installed power of pumping unit was usually higher than running power for requirement of the motor margin, which makes the electric power lost. The reasonable upper limit of electrical motor power utilization ratio by theorical check of the motor heating conditions、overload capacity and startup character and the lower limit by characteristic curve of electrical motor were made. It had been checked by experimental study. Declining electrical motor of pumping units installed power reasonably not only can raise electrical motor power utilization ratio and decrease initial investment, but also can make importance for energy saving of oilfield. 

Inhibition Efficiency of Compound Corrosion Inhibitor for Carbon Steels

By confecting simulation corrosion solution of pressuring air cooler system of Maoming Petrification and using CMB-1510B portable instantaneous corrosion rate meter, the experimental inhibition efficiency of organic corrosion inhibitor of Na2Sx and its compound was evaluated.The results show that Na2Sx and its compound are excellent corrosion inhibitor for the corrosion system of reactor effluent air coolers. After compounding with BTA, Na2Sx have attained excellent inhibition effect at little dosage. Moreover, BTA could form protective film on metal surface which prevented depolarizing substances to transfer toward metal surface, and reduced corrosion rate of metal.
